Cookies

In the Ancient Times, computer programmers livened up their dull text-only operating systems by installing a "cookie" program.  The cookie program would run every time the programmer logged in, at which time it would pick a witty saying at random from a file full of them and display it to the programmer.

In a similar vein, we have created a list of pages and short summary lines.  Each time you come to our site one of the summary lines is shown, hyperlinked to its page.  If you choose, you can follow the link and read whatever rant is at the end.
